This coffee is from the Buncho processing station in Shantawene Village within the Sidamo region of Ethiopia. It is sourced from the Daye Bensa farm, established in 2006 by brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamoas. The farm sits at the heart of Shantawene Village surrounded by natural forest and indigenous trees that provide natural shade. This is a natural processed coffee with flavor notes of blueberry, strawberry pie, and vanilla bean. The finish is described as syrupy and clean.
Case Coffee Roasters was founded in 2006 by Kati and Tim Case in Ashland, Oregon. The team roasts on a Diedrich IR 7 with a focus on light to medium profiles, using compostable packaging throughout. Sourcing follows a direct trade and relationship based model with an emphasis on sustainability, and USDA Organic certified coffees feature in the range.
