This coffee originates from the Worka Chelbesa kebele in the Gedeb woreda, Ethiopia, grown by smallholder farmers and processed at the Danche wet mill operated by Negusse Debela of SNAP Specialty Coffee. Farms range from 0.5 to 2 hectares at altitudes between 1,925 and 2,300 meters. Local landrace varieties Wolisho and Dega are selectively handpicked, wet-processed (washed), and dried on raised drying beds. The coffee is organically certified. Flavor notes include orange and sweet milk chocolate, with a floral, juicy character and a clean, pleasant body.
