This single-origin coffee is grown by producer Daniso Horsa in the lush highlands of Sidama, Ethiopia. The coffee consists of heirloom varietals grown at high elevation and handpicked at peak ripeness. It is processed using the natural method. The coffee features remarkable sweetness, clarity, and complex fruity-floral notes, with specific tasting notes of baked peach, black tea, and candied lime. It has been roasted to highlight these distinct flavors while caramelizing natural sugars to produce a soluble and accessible brew.
Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
