Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters

Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters was founded in 2011 by Fiona Grant in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. It began with a 5kg roaster in a bothy next to her house at the top of Glen Lyon, selling at local farmers' markets. In 2014 the operation moved to Aberfeldy, where the team now roasts on both a 12kg and a 25kg Probat. The roastery is B Corp certified, works only with coffees scoring 85 or above on the SCA scale, and maintains direct trade relationships in Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. In 2022 they became the first specialty coffee company in Scotland to receive beans shipped by sailboat from Colombia. Solar panels power part of the facility, retail packaging is compostable, and the team plants native trees annually in the Scottish Highlands. They supply over 150 cafés, restaurants, and delis across the UK.
