This coffee comes from Gesha Village, a 471-hectare estate in the Bench Maji zone of Ethiopia, near the town of Gesha and the Gori Gesha forest — the birthplace of the Gesha variety. Specifically from the Oma block, named after the religious leader of the Meanit people. The variety is Gesha 1931, grown under mixed agroforestry with natural forest shade on brown-red loamy virgin forest soil. The natural process involves drying on raised beds under sun and mixed shade for 24 days, with no intentional fermentation stage.
