Grade 1, Organic Certified natural-processed Arabica coffee from The Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm in the Guji zone of Ethiopia's Oromia Region. Established in 2012, the farm produces high quality coffee with socially and environmentally responsible practices. Flavor notes include strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and chocolate.
Flywheel Coffee Roasters is the creation of Aquiles Guerrero, who was born on a coffee farm in Nicaragua, became a barista by age 12, and was roasting by 18. His family previously operated Martha and Bros. Coffee in San Francisco starting in the late 1980s, and Flywheel carries that heritage forward from its location in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood, directly in front of Golden Gate Park. Roastmaster Lawrence Cheung oversees small batch production, and the cafe serves espresso alongside pour over and a rotating selection of single origins.
