This is a single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the Guji region, grown at altitudes between 2100-2250 meters. The coffee is organic certified by Certysis BE-BIO-01. It is processed at the Dimtu washing station using the natural method, where ripe, red cherry is laid on raised beds to dry for approximately 18 days and raked frequently for even drying. The coffee features JARC varieties and local landraces. It is lightly roasted with a fruity aromatic profile and medium strength. The flavor notes include raspberry, redcurrant, peach, and hibiscus. The coffee is cultivated by smallholder farmers using traditional methods with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. It received a specialty coffee score of 87.5.
