About This Coffee

Hambela Buku Abel is a natural-processed Ethiopian coffee from Buku, Hambela, grown at 2,100–2,300 masl by smallholder farmers. The coffee was Champion of the African Taste of Harvest (TOH) for Natural Process in 2016 and 2017. Processed at the Buku Abel Washing Station owned by DW Exports, only cherries above 2,000 masl are selected and dried on raised beds. Heirloom variety displays blueberry, peach, and mango aromatics with berry and chocolate notes.
