This single-origin coffee comes from Lalesa in the Gedeo zone of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, processed as a washed lot at Alemayehu Tilahun’s wet mill. Cherries are hand-sorted, pulped with an Agaarde disc-pulper, fermented for 48 hours, soaked for 2 hours and dried over about 10 days before hand sorting. Varietals listed are Wolisho and Dega, grown at 1900–2120 m. Tasting notes: stone fruit, cooked citrus, lemon and black tea; roast: filter.
