Ethiopia Worka Sakaro

Ethiopia Worka Sakaro

Junto Coffee

About This Coffee

This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Worka Sakaro Washing Station in Gedeb, sourced from over 400 smallholder farmers. Grown at 2,000–2,200 meters elevation on steep mountain slopes, the coffee features varieties Kumie, Siga, and Wilsho. The beans undergo an anaerobic natural process: cherries are sealed in plastic bags flushed with carbon dioxide and nitrogen for 3–7 days of controlled fermentation, then dried on raised beds. This experimental method produces fruit-forward sweetness with floral depth and complex flavor.
