Ethiopian single-origin coffee from Yirgacheffe, specifically from Chelbesa village in the Gedeo region. Produced by micro farmers at altitudes between 1,950 and 2,200 meters. The variety is Ethiopian Heirloom, processed using the natural method. The washing station is located at over 1,950m altitude in the mountains, where the cool climate allows coffee cherries to dry slowly on African beds, concentrating sugars. Flavor profile features blueberry and grape-like fruitiness, peach-like sweetness, and wine-like aromatic qualities. The coffee is sourced through SNAP Specialty, an Ethiopian exporter that established a washing station in the Danche settlement of Chelbesa village in 2019, working with approximately 1,300 smallholder coffee farmers.
And Coffee Roasters is a Japanese roastery that believes in connecting people through coffee. The "and" in their name symbolizes the relationships they build with farmers, customers, and the community.
