This is a Yirgacheffe single origin coffee from Ethiopia, grown at elevations between 1,700 and 2,200 meters above sea level in the Yirgacheffe region. Described as the best high-grown coffee in southern Ethiopia, it features a medium body with delicate fruit and floral characteristics.
Cape Cod Coffee Roasters was founded in 1970 by Demos Young and purchased by the MacGregor sisters in 2011 in Mashpee, Massachusetts. The roastery runs a Loring Smart Roast S15 Falcon, which reduces emissions by 80% and smoke by 100% compared to traditional machines. The business is B Corporation certified and sources beans through both Fair Trade and Direct Trade relationships, with USDA Organic certified coffees available in the range.
