About This Coffee

A single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the Guji, Oromia region, grown at an altitude of 1,750–1,950 meters ASL. The coffee is an heirloom variety, processed using washed and sun-dried methods. Light roasted with a medium body and balanced acidity, it offers flavor notes of citrus zest, marmalade, floral sweetness, and berries. As a pour over it exhibits sweet floral and marmalade characteristics; as an espresso it delivers fruity, citrusy, and cranberry notes.

Cowpresso was built in 2017 by a group of self described passion led artisans: an over caffeinated barista, an ardent roaster, and a photojournalist united by the goal of making specialty coffee approachable, affordable, and sustainable. The flagship cafe and coffee machine showroom sits near Beauty World MRT at Lorong Kilat, where visitors can browse in house roasted beans alongside an extensive lineup of espresso machines from brands the company distributes, including Lelit and Sanremo. Cowpresso roasts 100% fresh crop Arabica sourced from renowned farms worldwide, with several offerings carrying Fair Trade and organic certifications, and also produces compostable Nespresso compatible pods. A Bronze medalist at the 2020 Australia International Coffee Awards, the roastery has become a popular corporate coffee supplier serving more than ten international companies in Singapore.
