Boxcar Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This coffee is a Bourbon Ají variety from Finca Las Palmas, located in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, at an altitude of 1,840 meters. Managed by producer Abelardo Alvear, the coffee undergoes an intensive 120-hour double anaerobic washed process, involving an initial fermentation in cherries followed by a second fermentation after depulping. The resulting cup is balanced and explosive, featuring distinct flavor notes of peach rings, syrupy maraschino cherry, and a boozy quality reminiscent of piña colada.
