This is a washed Villa Sarchi coffee from Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Grown on Finca Los Aguacatones by Freddy and Alejandro Morales, this coffee comes from a farm that was once an avocado orchard and has been transformed into a distinctive coffee site over the past three years. The coffee presents tasting notes of velvety chocolate, orange creamsicle, and vanilla with a creamy finish.
Phil Goodlaxson founded Corvus Coffee Roasters in 2010 in Denver, Colorado, starting with a small roaster in his garage before scaling up. The roastery now operates multiple retail locations across the Denver metro area and roasts well over 100,000 pounds of coffee annually. Corvus prioritizes direct trade relationships with farmers, many spanning over a decade, and holds more Cup of Excellence coffees and microlots than any other roaster in the Denver area. The company is a finalist in Roast Magazine's 2026 Roaster of the Year awards in the Macro Roaster category.
