Natural processed Pink Bourbon coffee from Finca Potosi in Valle de Cauca, Colombia, grown at 1502-1835 meters altitude by producers Rigoberto and Luis Herrerra. Hand-picked at peak ripeness, fermented for 72 hours in open tanks, and mechanically dried over 8-12 days. Light roast with creamy mouthfeel and vibrant red fruit notes of cherry, strawberry cream, and red grape with a clean, winey finish.
Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta. What began as Ming's personal coffee project within Tesla's internal coffee club evolved into a full roastery operation after both founders chose to leave their tech careers to pursue coffee full time between 2023 and 2024. Moonwake represents a growing movement of technologists who discovered that coffee roasting offers greater fulfillment than their previous careers, channeling engineering precision into specialty coffee.
