About This Coffee

Finca Sumava Black Moon is from Finca Sumava in Lourdes de Naranjo, Costa Rica (1,700 m), produced by Francisco Mena. The coffee is Milenio variety and undergoes a double fermented washed process (the Black Moon method). Beans are dried on raised beds and stored frozen as green coffee. Tasting notes highlight sangria, tamarind and lychee; the roast is an omniroast optimized for filter brewing with a big, tropical, boozy character.
