This coffee is from Armenia Quindio, Colombia, produced by Luz Helena Salazar at 1450-1500m altitude. The coffee is Typica Mejorado variety, a unique cross between Bourbon and a traditional Ethiopian heirloom with a low-yielding plant structure similar to Gesha. The cherries undergo natural processing with a 45-hour aerobic fermentation at the La Pradera processing center. Only the ripest cherries are hand-picked, then carefully hand-sorted and floated to remove defects. The cup features bright pink lemonade notes layered with fresh raspberry and gentle floral aromatics, with bright red fruit notes, natural sweetness, and soft, delicate floral characteristics. Scored 88.75 points.
