This coffee is a Gesha varietal from El Refugio farm in Colombia. The farm has belonged to the Agudelo Uribe family since 2020 and comprises 7.5 hectares of coffee planted with exotic varietals. The plants are around 2 years old and grown in an agroforest system with native trees providing shade and nurturing wildlife. The coffee is fully washed using an Ecomill system with low water consumption. Cherries are floated, pulped, and fermented for 24 hours before being washed and dried in parabolic driers to 10.5% moisture. The coffee features tasting notes of apricot, rose, lime, and honey sweetness.
