This Colombia Gesha Honey coffee is from Finca La Playita in Planadas, Tolima at 1,700 meters altitude. Produced by Don Víctor Gutiérrez, a second-generation coffee farmer, this is his first trial with the Gesha variety. The coffee was processed using the honey method, where ripe cherries were selected, pulped, and dried immediately without additional fermentation. Drying lasted approximately one month with constant movement on drying beds. The coffee features a syrupy body with tropical and floral notes characteristic of the Gesha variety, including flavors of cookie, lulo, and apricot jam. Roasted to be enjoyed both as filter and espresso.
