This coffee is from Los Pirineos farm in Usulatan, El Salvador, located on the Tecapa volcano. The farm has been operated by the Baraona family since 1890. It is a Pacamara varietal processed using the Black Honey method. The coffee grows at 1500 meters altitude and was harvested in March 2020. The flavor profile is elegant and velvety with notes of apricot, peach, and caramel. Gilberto Baraona has won 15 Cup of Excellence awards.
