About This Coffee

A washed Kenyan coffee from the Kirinyaga region, grown at 1800m altitude by smallholder farmers of the Baragwi Farmers' Cooperative Society. Produced at the Guama Coffee Washing Station, established in 1986 with over 3,500 member farmers. Cultivars include SL-34, SL-28, SL Grafted, Ruiru-11, and Batian. Cherries are fermented up to 24 hours and dried on raised beds for 10–18 days. Tasting notes of grapefruit, blackberry, and tomato jam. Roasted as a filter profile.
