This is a Guatemalan coffee from the Baja Verapaz region, produced by the Café De Chichupac Co-Operative. Established in 1982, the cooperative comprises 28 members from 13 local families and 50 independent neighbours, all belonging to the Maya Achí community. The coffee is processed using the fully washed method at a community wet mill built in 1991. It is grown at an altitude of 1800-2000 meters and features the Sarchimor varietal. The coffee offers beautifully rounded flavors with base notes of milk chocolate and a refreshing finish. Winner at the 2024 Great Taste Awards.
Altitude Coffee London is a UK-based roastery that focuses on sourcing high-altitude coffees. They believe that the unique growing conditions at high altitudes produce beans with more complex and nuanced flavors.
