This coffee is a single-origin Arabica from Guatemala, specifically from the Huehuetenango region, one of three non-volcanic coffee regions in Guatemala. The region benefits from a unique microclimate where warm air from Mexico mixes with cold air descending from the Cuchumatanes mountains, protecting against frost and allowing coffee cultivation at altitudes above 1350 meters. The coffee comes from five plantations: Buenos Aires Huixoc, Isnul, La Reforma, Las Americas, and San Antonio. It features Bourbon, Catuaí, Caturra, and Typica varieties, processed using the washed method. Flavor notes include milk chocolate, orange, and maple. This is a medium roast coffee.
