This USDA Organic certified coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Association of Special Coffee Producers of Huehuetenango (ASOPCE) in Guatemala. The association has 450 members cultivating coffee on small parcels throughout Huehuetenango. The coffee features varieties including Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Pache, and San Ramon, grown at altitudes between 1350-2050 meters in clay mineral soil. It is fully washed and sun-dried. The coffee offers chocolate-y flavor notes with deep richness, along with toffee, peanut butter, cherry, and plum notes.
