About This Coffee

This coffee comes from the El Puente farm in the La Libertad area of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, grown at 1600–1800 meters altitude by the Vides family. The farm spans 6 hectares and cultivates San Ramon and Caturra varieties (with Bourbon and Catuai also integrated). Processing is washed: cherries rest in bags for 24–36 hours, then are depulped, fermented, and thoroughly washed after approximately 24 hours, then dried on raised beds for about 15 days. The Fleck Coffee Company

The Fleck Coffee Roasters was registered in July 2018 and operates from Martina Rázusa street in Banská Bystrica, where its cafe, roastery, bean shop, and barista training center share a single space slightly off the beaten path from the city center. The owner is an award winning barista whose passion for the craft comes through in a focused menu of specialty coffee, homemade lemonades, and fresh pastries, all served by a young team that visitors consistently describe as knowledgeable and eager to explain the origins behind each cup. Freshly roasted beans are sold in 250 gram packets for home brewing, and the cafe offers preparation through Aeropress, Hario V60, and Chemex alongside standard espresso drinks. The Fleck holds a 4.9 Google rating and is ranked among the top coffeehouses in Banská Bystrica.
