Jim's Organic Coffee

Jim's Organic Coffee was founded in 1996 by Jim Cannell in Wareham, Massachusetts. Cannell had previously launched one of the nation's first all organic coffee roasting companies in 1992, and Jim's Organic Coffee carried that pioneering commitment forward from day one. Every coffee is USDA and Oregon Tilth certified organic, with select offerings carrying Smithsonian Bird Friendly and Regenerative Organic certifications. The roastery uses a Probat G240 drum roaster with cast iron drums designed to prevent hot spots and scorching, producing 100 to 250 pounds per batch. Jim's is a certified B Corporation and conducts sustainability surveys of its supply chain partners covering worker conditions, wildlife conservation, and community projects. The company pairs rigorous environmental standards with a belief that organic farming simply produces better tasting coffee.
