This coffee originates from Gui Ben in the Yunnan mountains of China, near the border with Laos. Grown by Tang Xiang and Tian Cai with their community, it features the Catimor variety processed using natural methods. The coffee delivers flavor notes of grape jelly, kumquat, and cocoa, offering a sweet and full-bodied cup that showcases China's specialty coffee potential.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
