A bespoke house espresso roasted by Dark Arts Coffee, an East London specialty roaster. This coffee features a chocolatey body and milky mouthfeel. The beans are carefully selected from the world's best independent roasters, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility from farmers to roasters.
The Hagen Project was founded by Danish entrepreneur Tim Schroeder, opening its first pop up in Walthamstow in 2018. What started as a café group inspired by Danish hygge culture has grown to over 15 espresso bars across London and Amsterdam. In 2024 the company began roasting in house using Bellwether Series 2 electric roasters at their Belgravia location, becoming the first roaster in Europe to adopt the ventless, fully electric Bellwether technology. Prior to that, their house coffee was roasted by Dark Arts Coffee in East London. In 2025 they won Best Independent Coffee Shop and Best Coffee Shop Operator at the London Coffee Festival Awards.
