This blend combines Arabica beans from Brazil, Colombia, and El Salvador. The coffee uses Bourbon and Caturra varieties processed through a mixture of Washed and Natural methods. Medium roasted, it offers flavors of dark chocolate, hazelnut, nougat, and rum and raisin with a smooth creamy mouthfeel and full body. Designed as an all-rounder for daily brewing, it works well as espresso or through any brew method, whether enjoyed black or with milk.
Fuel & Fable is a carbon offset, small batch roastery founded by Matt Brown located in Christchurch, Dorset. Matt previously ran an award winning Icelandic inspired specialty coffee shop in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. The roastery focuses on light profiles designed to preserve origin character, sourcing rare and distinctive coffees through direct trade relationships. Alongside roasting, Matt works as a barista trainer and coffee consultant, and runs a rehabilitation programme that teaches barista and hospitality skills to prisoners.
