About This Coffee

This peaberry lot comes from the Rwamatamu washing station on the Eastern shores of Lake Kivu in Kibuye, Rwanda. The station is led by Rutaganda Gaston and his wife Laetitia, along with their daughter Bernice. The coffee is a Red Bourbon variety grown at 1800-2000 meters above sea level. It is processed using the washed method. The coffee features notes of mission fig, mandarin, and cola, with dark fruit aromatics, mandarin-like acidity, and cola-like sweetness.
