This single-origin coffee comes from Finca Sabillon in the Siguatepeque region of Comayagua, Honduras, grown at 1,277 meters elevation. The Lempira variety beans are washed-processed after selective hand-picking of ripe cherries. The coffee features hazelnut and milk chocolate notes with balanced citrus undertones, described as a pleasant and approachable cup with nutella-like qualities.
Square One Coffee has been roasting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania since 2000. Josh and Jess Steffy took ownership in 2007 and refocused the operation on specialty grade coffee, responsible sourcing, and barista education.
