About This Coffee

India Monsooned Malabar is a naturally processed coffee from the Malabar Coast of Karnataka. The beans are exposed to monsoon rains and winds for 3-4 months (June through September) in well-ventilated warehouses, causing them to swell and turn pale gold. This processing method replicates the coffee's historical journey on wooden sailing vessels to Europe. The resulting coffee is deep and full-bodied with earthy and cocoa notes, complemented by cedar and spiced nuts.
