This coffee is produced by Ashok Patre at Ratnagiri Estate in the Bababudangiri region of the Western Ghats, India. The estate has been family-owned since 1920 and maintains Rainforest Alliance Certification. Grown at 1350 meters altitude, this coffee is made from the Hemavathi varietal and undergoes a 96-hour extended carbonic maceration natural process with yeast fermentation using lab-grown cultures. The coffee presents flavors of mango, orange candy, and marzipan.
