This Indonesia Sumatra coffee is grown in the highlands of Aceh Tengah at 1,450 meters elevation. It is a wet-hulled (Giling Basah) processed coffee from Gayo 1 and Gayo 2 varietals, which are thought to stem from Timor and Bourbon varieties. The beans are certified Fairtrade Organic and produced by farmers Wagiman and Yasmin. The flavor profile includes dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, clove, concord grape, and lime notes, with a medium-dark roast level offering gentle complexity with rich earthiness and a smooth finish.
