This Ethiopian coffee from Jimma, Oromia is grown by over 1,200 smallholder farmers who bring their cherries to the Liben Washing Station. The coffee is grown at altitudes of 1900-2200 meters above sea level. It features Heirloom varieties and is processed using the washed method. Since 2007, the station has operated with 100 drying beds and employs around 110 people during the three-month harvest to ferment, wash, and dry the cherries. The coffee offers notes of forest honey, nectarine, and magnolia, with a sweetness level of 4/5, body of 3/5, and acidity of 4/5. It is particularly popular as a base for cappuccinos or flat whites.
