Ixlama is sourced from approximately 120 smallholder families of Mayan descent in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, near the Mexico border, farming at elevations of 1,524–1,830 meters. This 50/50 blend of Bourbon and Caturra is shade-grown and washed-processed at Transcafe's mill in Todos Santos, then sun-dried and finished in traditional guardiolas before being sorted by color and density. The coffee offers a clean, bright, well-structured cup with tasting notes of brown sugar and plum, featuring a soft and sweet finish.
