About This Coffee

This coffee is from the Jarama farm in Western Rwanda, located in the Nyamasheke District. The estate is owned and operated by Kivubelt, established in 2011. The coffee is Bourbon variety grown at 1700-1900 meters altitude. It is washed processed and dried on raised beds. The cup profile features Valencia orange, candied mango, lime zest, dark chocolate, caramel, and sugar snap pea notes. The coffee has a jammy body and winey acidity characteristic of the Nyamasheke region, which benefits from terroir influenced by Lake Kivu and Nyungwe Forest National Park.
