Seekind is a specialty roastery in Ravensburg, Germany, founded in 2020 by André Kirberg and co founder Levi with the aim of bringing specialty coffee to Upper Swabia. André trained at the Kaffeeinstitut Goran Huber and went on to win the German Coffee Roasting Championship in both 2022 and 2023, beating over a dozen competitors each time. The roastery sources exclusively specialty grade green coffee from importers committed to sustainable cultivation and fair pricing, working with origins including Brazil, Colombia and Rwanda. Seekind describes its sourcing approach as relationship coffee, built on close ties to producers and as few middlemen as possible.
