This AA grade top lot is a washed coffee from Kamwangi washing station, one of three processing stations managed by New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, Kenya's central highlands. The cooperative works with approximately 1,500 local farmers growing SL 28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties at altitudes up to 1,800 meters. The coffee undergoes 24-36 hours of fermentation under shade, is washed and graded by density, then sun-dried on African drying beds for 12-20 days. The flavor profile is juicy and classic with notes of blackcurrant, vanilla, and citrus.
An Örebro-based roastery born from a love of coffee, using a "slow roast" method in small batches to allow each coffee's unique flavor and character to develop.
