This coffee is a single origin Kenya AA from Kirinyaga county in the Central Highlands. It is produced by the Karii wetmill, part of Mutira Farmers' Cooperative Society Ltd., which works with around 600 smallholder farmers. The coffee is washed and sun-dried on African drying beds for 12 to 20 days. It is made up of Batian, Ruiru 11, SL28, and SL34 varieties grown at 1600-1800 meters altitude. The coffee displays flavour notes of blackberry, apple and red wine.
