This coffee comes from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, grown in rich, red volcanic soils at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Hand-picked by members of Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative and delivered to one of eight Kiangai washing stations. It is washed processed and graded AB. The coffee showcases classic Kenyan flavors on the sweeter side with syrupy notes of blackcurrant and honey, displaying the characteristic quality that Kirinyaga has become known for.
