Hard Lines Coffee

About This Coffee

A Kenyan coffee from Mahiga Factory, located on the lower forested slopes of Mount Kenya. Grown in mineral-rich volcanic soils at high elevation with humid conditions. This is a washed coffee, processed using Kenya's traditional method of washing, soaking and washing again to create the clarity and brightness the country is famous for. The coffee features juicy blackcurrants and gooseberries with a squeeze of lemony brightness, balanced by a creamy, buttery and smooth body with gentle sweetness.

Hard Lines Coffee

Hard Lines started as a small Aeropress pop up bar serving filter coffee in Cardiff and grew over several years into one of Wales's best known specialty roasters. The roastery operates out of Gwaelod y Garth, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, using two Loring eco friendly roasters: an S35 Kestrel and an S15 Falcon. They run three locations in the Cardiff area, including a café in Penylan inspired by Italian neighbourhood coffee bars. The offering rotates with seasonal fresh crop arrivals, and the brand's distinctive smiley face identity was developed with designer Cadilane.
