Kenya Ragati is a single-origin coffee from Kirinyaga County, Kenya, produced at Ragati Factory, part of the Kibirigwi Farmers Cooperative Society. The cooperative has approximately 900 members and around 183,000 coffee trees of varieties Ruiru 11, SL-34, and SL-28. Cherries are hand-picked between October and December, depulped, sorted by density in water channels, fermented, washed with fresh water from the Ragati River, and sun-dried on raised beds to 10–12% moisture. Flavor notes include gooseberry and citrus, with a fresh, juicy character and pleasant body. Roasted for filter.
