This coffee is from the Koerintji Barokah Bersama Cooperative on Sumatra, Indonesia, comprising 320 smallholder farmers on a high plateau at the foot of Mount Kerinci. The cherries are grown in mineral-rich volcanic soil at elevations suitable for coffee cultivation. It is an anaerobic natural process where ripe cherry is sealed in airtight bags for seven days of fermentation, then dried on raised beds under protective domes for 20-23 days before milling. Available in Medium Filter or Light Espresso roast profiles.
