About This Coffee

This coffee comes from the Korofeigu Cooperative in Papua New Guinea's Eastern Highlands, specifically from the Bena region at 1600 meters altitude. It is a washed 100% Arabica coffee, produced by a cooperative of 97 smallholder farmers, involving varieties Ateng, Ganjang, Onan, S795, Tim Tim, and Typica. The coffee exhibits flavor notes of dark chocolate, speculaas, and cherry, with a mild citrus acidity and a full, juicy body. The cherries are handpicked, machine depulped, washed, and sun-dried.
