This coffee comes from La Bastilla Coffee Estates in Nicaragua's northern highlands near Jinotega, a Rainforest Alliance–certified farm that has been cultivating small-lot coffees since 2003. The anaerobic lot is fermented in sealed tanks to highlight fruit and chocolate characteristics. The cup features chocolate, berry, and black tea notes. Roasted light for clarity and sweetness, it works well across brew methods from pour-over to espresso.
