This coffee is a Gesha variety from Cajamarca, Peru. The region is a semi-dry, semi-cold tropical highland with fertile soil at high Andean elevations. Smallholder producers farm on 2-3 hectares of land, many practicing organic farming. The Gesha genetic strain originates from Ethiopian landrace varieties collected in the 1930s. This is an espresso-style roast.
