This coffee is from La Joya farm in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, managed by Rudy and Floridalma Castillo. The farm sits at 1900 meters altitude in the hills of El Chalum in San Antonio Huista. It is a washed coffee made from Caturra, Bourbon, and Catuai varieties. The cup offers vibrant notes of marzipan, milk chocolate, and berry sweetness with a touch of citrus. The producer inherited the land in 1996 and has developed the farm through careful soil analysis and optimized pre and post-harvest routines.
