This coffee is from the high mountain slopes of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. La Morena began in 2016 as a small micro-lot and has grown into a network of more than 800 female producers across Huehuetenango and Baja Verapaz. Each lot is milled near the farms to preserve the region's distinct character. This is the only single origin in the roaster's lineup roasted to a medium profile. The coffee presents tasting notes of chocolate, stone fruit, dried cherries, and brown sugar — smooth, balanced, and versatile for any brew method.
